🥞 About ‘All Gravy’
The next generation of employees are used to apps like Instagram, TikTok and Spotify in their personal life - but when they go to work at a restaurant chain or retail store, they’re met with software created before they were born.
We are modernising the tools for frontline employees and transforming the experience into one that is engaging and motivating; making their lives easier - from getting paid to developing their careers.
We’re innovating on the whole employee journey: from being recruited, onboarded, growing skills, knowing when to work, and connecting with co-workers.
We've grown incredibly for the last half year and are looking to accelerate further. We already work with some of the most exciting brands in the Nordics (Q8, 7-Eleven, Best Western) and we're now expanding into the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
We're backed by some of Europe’s leading investors (Moonfire, Upfin, Founders, Nordic Web Ventures) and Angels (Bradley Horowitz (GP, Wisdom Ventures), Terese Hougaard (Partner, Atomico), Phil Chambers (CEO, Peakon).
Who are we?
We are passionate, have an ambitious mission, and our users love us! ♥️
And this is just the beginning. The best is yet to come, and we hope to bring you on board to achieve this mission together. We are a fun and hard-working team that is looking for passionate professionals to join our mission. Join us to shape the future for shift & gig workers 🚀
🤩 The role: Strategy & Operations Analyst
We are looking for a part-time Strategy & Operations Analyst who is ambitious and ready to take on a high-responsibility role in a venture-funded startup.
Previous Analysts have gone on to become Director of Strategy and Operations, and recently, Tobias was promoted to Growth Lead in the company after just 9 months. This is very much a role where the more responsibility you take, the more you get.
While this is a student role, we expect the person taking on the position to be able to take on full responsibility for projects end-to-end.
All Gravy is evolving at a high pace, and therefore, many new tasks in terms of scaling the commercial team and delivering on customers/product creates tasks that require a strong thinker & executor.
Within the next few quarters, we will continue scaling into the UK and Norway and scaling to new markets like Sweden (and other secret markets 🤫), all stand-alone projects requiring support from the best talent out there - possibly you.
😎 The job and responsibilities
This role is a broad role supporting the CEO and Director of Strategy & Operations alongside our Strategy & Ops team, which currently consists of four other sharp and executing Analysts:
-
Strategic topics:
- Run analysis related to fundraising (e.g. LTV / CAC calculations, calculating cost of acquiring a customer)
- Pricing proposals
- Expansion-related strategy
-
Commercial:
- Funnel analysis
- Commission proposals and calculation
- Creation & refinement of sales assets (sales decks, calculators, online assets, white papers)
- Competitor analysis
- RevOps
-
Operations
- Developing & implement processes across a range of areas, as needs arise
- Owning specific strategic or operational projects (e.g. setting up automatic payments from clients in Norway - how do we best do it?)
- Keeping check of investor-conversations
- Calculating metrics, cash flow and burn rate
-
Admin
- Ad-hoc tasks
- Managing calendars (not as PA, but could be helping schedule interviews, sales meetings, etc.)
- Managing & optimising external suppliers (office-related)
All Gravy is undergoing high growth; hence the job and responsibilities will develop over time, and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to learn and grow.
Who are you?
You have great energy, a good sense of humour & have a disciplined problem-solver mindset. You should enjoy working in the dynamic startup environment, like initiating new projects and getting them over the line. We have a direct feedback culture, and people with a growth mindset tend to do best here.
You’re probably studying a high-paced education at a business school like CBS or the like and enjoy having a student job that makes sense for your future career. Additionally, it's a big plus if you have previous experience from a fast-paced company (startup, vc, etc.), but it’s not required.
1st year bachelor’s? 3rd year bachelor’s going into your master’s? We don’t care as long as you have energy and grit – we hire all candidates on a case-by-case basis.
We're very flexible in times of exams – and appreciate hires with the same mindset, once exams are not around :)
We look for employees who like being part of a team, are real team players, and have a mindset of learning & growing.
We expect you to:
- Speak and write Danish & English fluently
- Take responsibility for projects end-to-end
- Be structured in your approach to problem-solving
- Like executing on projects and tasks
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a good sense of humour - be willing to contribute to this being a fun place to work
- Be excited about building a big company from a small starting point, and want to grow personally on the way there
- Be able to work at our office in Central Copenhagen (though we operate with a hybrid model, so you are free to choose to work remotely some days as well)
We are in the midst of building an awesome company and can't wait to onboard you - therefore we will hire the right candidate as soon as we find him/her.
💡 Even if you do not tick every box on this page, you might be the perfect fit for the job! We treasure our learning culture and encourage all humble people to apply.
