🤩 The role: Senior Fullstack Developer, Workflow

We’re looking for an ambitious, Senior Fullstack Developer to join our workflow team.

You will be working as part of the platform team, but focused on our new workflow product. The workflow product focuses on automating workflows with AI across our product.

Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer focused on our new Workflow product, you will be a pivotal member of the Platform team. Your primary focus will be on the development, implementation, and scaling of a cutting-edge product designed to automate and optimize complex workflows across the entire All Gravy product suite, heavily leveraging modern AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: You will take ownership of the full application stack for the Workflow product, from front-end interfaces that allow users to define and monitor workflows to robust, scalable back-end services and data layers.
• AI Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain the underlying infrastructure necessary to support sophisticated AI models and services.
• Platform Collaboration: While dedicated to the Workflow product, you will work within the broader Platform team structure, contributing to platform standards, shared services, and architectural decision-making to ensure the Workflow product integrates harmoniously with the rest of All Gravy's technology ecosystem.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Act as a technical leader within the Workflow domain, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, conducting thorough code reviews, and driving best practices for performance, security, and code quality.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate possesses a versatile skill set, demonstrating capability across the entire spectrum of software development at All Gravy, coupled with a deep, proven expertise in the unique challenges of AI-driven application development.

• Full-Stack Competency: Proven experience with both front-end (e.g., React, Vue, modern JavaScript/TypeScript) and back-end technologies ( Node.js).
• AI Development Acumen: Direct experience integrating AI models into production software systems. This includes knowledge of API design for model serving, managing vector databases, and understanding the practical application of various AI/ML paradigms to solve real-world automation problems.
• System Architecture: Ability to design and architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems.

We have a full-fledged TypeScript-based tech stack in All Gravy which means our current developer team seamlessly switches between development tasks.

We are looking for exceptional people with great energy and a good sense of humour. The ideal candidate will love to think about how to solve problems in an elegant way, however, given the pace we’re operating at, will also be able to sometimes make pragmatic decisions, which can then be revisited at a later stage. Our ideal candidate is someone who balances a strong drive for elegant, well-architected solutions with the ability to execute quickly and an eye for high value deliveries.

Daily activities include:

• Developing features in our React/React Native applications
• Improving the GraphQL APIs serving our applications
• Monitor app usage & performance, identify and solve bugs
• Code reviews, architecture, continuously help improving our team & processes

Who are you?

You have great energy, a good sense of humour & have a disciplined problem solver mindset. You should enjoy working in the dynamic startup environment, like to initiate new projects - but also get them over the line.

We look for employees who like being part of a team, are real team players, and have a mindset of learning & growing.

We expect you to:

• Have 5+ years of experience in your field.
• Thrive in a very fast-paced environment.
• Be passionate, organized and self-driven.
• Be able to work full-time at our office in Copenhagen or remote (though we operate with a hybrid model, so you are free to choose to work remotely as well)
• Speak and write English fluently
• Have a good sense of humour - be willing to contribute to this being a fun place to work
• Be excited about building a big company and want to grow personally on the way there
• Experience in developing user-facing AI applications is a plus

The ideal candidate has experience in:

• Typescript
• React Native
• ReactJS
• GraphQL

An advantage if you have experience in:

• NestJS
• MongoDB
